Brief description: This project aims to a better understanding of socioeconomic data collected in the DSH by deriving household wealth estimates using latent class and item response models taking into account of data structure and potential unobserved heterogeneity. The project takes a different approach based on latent variable modelling that assumes that standard of living is a latent variable that cannot be directly observed.
