2017 Annual APEEN Conference
 

We are pleased to announce that the 2017 Annual APEEN Conference , will take place in Lisbon, ISCTE-IUL, on 9th May 2017.

The annual APEEN Conference is an international meeting which aims at sharing experiences and results by the Scientific and Business community whose interests are the Economics of Energy and Environment. It intends to strengthen links among teaching and research institutions, companies in the energy sector, regulators, competition authorities and policy makers. 

Important Dates

  • Submissions of full papers: until March 18, 2017
  • Paper acceptance notification: until April 3, 2017
  • Early registration: until April 22, 2017
  • Late registration: between April 22 and May 4, 2017

The conference chair are professor Mónica Meireles and professor Catarina Roseta Palma from the Economics Group of BRU-IUL.

We look forward to meeting you in Lisbon!

The Business Research Unit congratules the PhD students Tatiana Iolanda Pires MarquesInês Carneiro e Sousa and Bruno Diogo Gonçalves Pereira who were awarded the PhD Fellowship and Donatella Di Marco who was awarded the post-doctoral fellowship.

New FCT call for PhD fellowships
 

A new FCT call for PhD fellowships will be opened from 1st – 31st  March 2017.

The BRU-IUL office is available to support and assist the applications of the candidates for PhD grants.

We draw your attention to the following documents concerning 2017 application rules:

3.       What has changed in the 2017 call (available only in Portuguese, English version will be available soon)

4.       FCT grants regulation (in English)

BRU-IUL Scientific Council Plenary_Results of the Election
 

Following the voting that took place on the 24 and 25 of January, we inform the election of Professor Maria de Fátima Salgueiro for the position of BRU-IUL Director.

Of the 89 eligible researchers 59 voted, with the following results:

- Votes in favor  36

- Blank 20

- Null  3
