The 6^th International AR VR Conference: Immersive Tech and the Future of Smart Cities will be held on 24-26^thJune 2020. An International Conference at ISCTE- Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

The last conference attracted more than 200 people from more than 25 countries to Munich, Germany to present and showcase more than 100 papers and projects. In addition, keynote speakers from renowned companies, such as Microsoft, KLM, AUDI and University of Cambridge discussed new technological developments within the industry.

The Organizing Committee includes the researchers Sandra Loureiro (Host Chair), João Guerreiro (Industry Programme Chair) and Ricardo Bilro (PhD Programme Chair) from the Accounting, Marketing & Management Group at BRU-IUL.

The ICMarkTech'20 - The 2020 International Conference on Marketing and Technologies, will be held at ISCTE – Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, between 8^th and 10^th October 2020.

ICMarkTech'20 - The 2020 International Conference on Marketing and Technologies, is an international forum for researchers and professionals to present and discuss the latest innovations, trends, results, experiences and concerns in the various fields of Marketing and Technologies related to it.

Seminar: Integration of Revenue Management and Customer Relation Management: A Case Analysis

Prior research has suggested that there is a dilemmatic encounter in hospitality management between two managerial innovations: revenue management (RM) and customer relation management (CRM) put forward e.g. by (McMahon-Beattie, et al. 2002; Noone et al. 2003). While CRM’s focus is, in short, on the customer relationship, RM focuses on each booking transaction. Prior empirical research has evidenced various reasons why these two managerial approaches are difficult to align in practice (Wang 2012; Quillet et al. 2019). This presentation is motivated by the research initiative expressed by a hospitality company with the goal to analyze and enhance their customer profitability (e.g. Foster et al. 1996). The company has an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system and the project is supported by the researcher’s access to the company database.
